Itās National Assistant Principals Week and we are so excited to celebrate the assistant principals who lead our schools each day!
Students at Holmes Elementary School that had perfect attendance in March were rewarded with an ice cream social today! There were a total of 46 students with perfect attendance in March, which was more than the total number of students that had perfect attendance each month from November through February.
Fourth grader Isaac summed it up by saying: "It's cool to be in school!"
Students who came to school on the final in-person learning day before Spring Break were allowed to dress down in pajamas. Nearly 97% of the students were in attendance! Way to go!

If your child has been recommended to attend the Harvey School District 152 Extended Year Summer Program, you can complete the form online to enroll your child in the program. The program will be conducted in-person from June 12, 2023, through July 7, 2023 at Brooks and Whittier schools. Please complete the registration form below to enroll your child in the program. All registration must be completed by April 21, 2023

Riley Early Childhood Center had 11 students winning prizes for having donations to the Books are Fun Book Blast today. Thank you to everyone who completed the treasure maps and participated!
The Brooks Middle School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is returning! Due to the dedication of Teacher Charwana Morgan, we will once again have students participating in this amazing group. The induction ceremony will take place on March 29, 2023 6:00p.m. at Brooks Middle School.
Ms. Morgan says āAs a parent of former District 152 NJHS students, I understand how important it is to be a part of the program. NJHS opened doors for my children to receive full academic scholarships to prestigious universities and it is an honor to be able to assist our students with the road to success as well.ā

Holmes Elementary School closed out Black History Month with Soul Food themed potluck lunch for staff! Dr. Bridges was able to drop in and eat lunch with Principal Gabriela Delgado and Secretary Vickie Farfan.
