Harvey School District is currently searching for a new Superintendent to lead our district beginning in January 2024. We want to hear from YOU in our community focus groups this week. The sessions will be led by School Exec Connect, a search firm that specializes in assisting schools in their search for administrative leaders.

To wrap up summer school at Whittier, each child went home with a set of books! Enjoy the rest of your summer, students!
Whittier students and staff enjoyed a trip to the city for the Wendella Boat Tour! One of our students even drew a photo of a skyscraper and the tour guide!
During summer school at Whittier, students learned about Sea Turtles in Mrs. Kowalskiās kindergarten class! She brought in her pet turtle for students to compare and contrast her land turtle from a sea turtle. One way they are different is that sea turtles have flippers and canāt retract into their shells.
On a rollā¦ Whittier Summer School students enjoyed a fun day out at the Lynwood Skating Rink!

The theme of Whittierās summer school was based on the story of Cinderella. Teachers created STEM activities like building Cinderellaās carriage. Way to go, students and staff!
