Harvey School District 152 has scheduled presentations for instruction of Erin's Law, House Bill-HB 6193 (P.A. 97-1147). Erin's Law states; "Programs should include techniques to teach children to recognize sexual abuse. Equip them with skills to reduce their vulnerability and encourage them to report the abuse."
Harvey School District 152 and Tom Kress fromHi Esteem Coaching and Speaking are bringing a dynamic and powerful presentation to your children. We are very pleased to share that next month on Oct. 2. Tom Kress will be visiting our schools to deliver the empowering presentation, entitled "Your Power Project."
This program teaches students the value in using their powerful voice with saying "STOP" and "NO", telling their own Personal Hero, keeping NO SECRETS and more. Then adding strategies to recognize certain behaviors of their own and of any predator. Then ultimately, as this dialogue continues at home, creates sustainable thoughts and action.

Telling their own personal hero
Reinforcing each child they have the POWER to reach their goals and dreams
