During summer school at Whittier, students learned about Sea Turtles in Mrs. Kowalski’s kindergarten class! She brought in her pet turtle for students to compare and contrast her land turtle from a sea turtle. One way they are different is that sea turtles have flippers and can’t retract into their shells.
On a roll… Whittier Summer School students enjoyed a fun day out at the Lynwood Skating Rink!
