The session was focused on informative and engaging talks around equity in our schools and communities. We’re excited to have these conversations happening to move our school districts forward.

In honor of Black History Month in February, Whittier Elementary Students presented The Living Wax Museum! Students learned about, dressed up as and created presentations in honor of famous Black Americans. All students from kindergarten through 5th grade participated!
Last month, Whittier Elementary School hosted their Family Sweetheart Dance! All family members were welcome to attend and everyone enjoyed their time together with family and friends!
Superintendent Dr. Lawrence is proud to partner with State Representative, and Harvey alum, Will Davis to advocate for all of South Suburban Cook County! It takes a village to raise our students and a concerted effort bringing together home, school and the community.

Last week was our District Math Bowl and there was some fierce competition.

Last month, the Harvey Educational Foundation held their Annual Gala! This special event celebrates individuals who have supported the school district and the Harvey community while raising funds for educational grants awarded to Harvey School District 152 educators.
