This special event celebrates individuals who have supported the school district and the Harvey community while raising funds for educational grants awarded to Harvey School District 152 educators. Holmes Elementary School students with perfect attendance during the month of January were rewarded with ice cream and brownies. There were 95 students with perfect attendance, which was the most of any month this year! We hope to have even more for our Perfect Attendance Pizza Party in February!

We LOVE our parents and families in Harvey! The recent Bryant Parent University meeting was a success, many thanks to the support of our parents. Last week, Holmes Elementary School kindergarten students celebrated the 100th day of school! Students were encouraged to dress as if they were 100-years-old and bring something to school that they had 100 of at home. They worked on projects throughout the day and had a great time celebrating 100 days!

A total of 84 students at Holmes Elementary School earned Perfect Attendance for the month of December! They received a special treat of hot chocolate and marshmallows which was a perfect way to warm up on a chilly day!

Recently, Holmes Elementary School had a raffle for students that met their growth goals and tested at grade level on the iReady benchmark that they took before Winter Break. Students received a raffle ticket if they tested at grade level, or achieved 50% of their growth goal in ELA and Math (earning up to four raffle tickets). The first raffle ticket that was drawn for each grade level received a refurbished Chromebook (compliments of HSD 152), and the second and third place winners received gift cards!
